In the course of the seminar "Education in Rural Areas", we visited on 4 March 2009, the event on Topic "Insights - Outlooks, appreciation peasant women working at the University of Agricultural Sciences.
The event was held for the ninth time. Iris Strutzmann DI and DI Andrea Heistinger emceed the evening. The Bäuerinnentag served as a conclusion of a seminar and was thus organized largely by the students of the BOKU and designed.
Conclusion:
It was especially exciting for me personally, different opinions and views heard regarding this issue. The realization that the increasing appreciation of the peasant women working in society, it also ascribes the farmers courage and thus in their Work was reinforced, for me personally a very inspiring experience. after
my opinion, however, must be worked a lot on communication between conventional and organic farming, since many areas of conflict exist which impede mutual support and cooperation significantly.
One of the most important insights for me was that we talk about this issue openly and to feel an enormous motivation, courage and strength on the part of farmers was.
