In the first internship, the students explored the possibility of yeast cells power and built himself a microbial fuel cell. In a another experiment, flower pigments used as a power supplier and optimized in their mode of action.
On the second day's own cells were used as research object. The body's own DNA was isolated from buccal cells and by PCR (polymerase chain reaction) amplified.
Following donor DNA was separated by gel electrophoresis and detected successfully in a criminal case :-). Both internships were extremely interesting and all were there with a lot of fun.
