Thus, the goal of WWF is on 28 March 2009.
As part of the WWF Earth Hour to switch off that day at 20:30 for 60 minutes, people all over the world the light.
goal of the campaign is that over a billion people worldwide participate.
It is an action against climate change and all over the world people are encouraged to participate, to set an example for the world climate.
Also in Austria have already agreed to many of this action and all states are trying to help.
So decided to Innsbruck Mayor Hilde Zach, that turned off the whole day of action remains the exterior lighting of the Golden Roof and tower of the city and also in St. Pölten, the lighting at the Town Hall and the Municipal Museum turned off.
Even in Paris, the Eiffel Tower is shut down in Las Vegas, some casinos are dark and in the Sydney Opera House for one hour in the dark be difficult to detect.
The city of Vienna was not convinced by this action, unfortunately, and so are the town hall and many other public buildings to be lit entirely during this hour.

I think that this is a great action and will definitely join in and try it possible to tell many people about it and to encourage them to participate.
I also hope that at least some readers of this article next Saturday the 28th March 2009 at 20.30 clock for an hour to set an example for the world climate and turn off with millions of other people the light.
